The schedule for the 2024-2025 school year is as follows: September 16 (in person), November 18 (zoom), February 10 (zoom), April 8 (zoom) and June 16 (AGM - in person). Click here for more about our PAC Meetings.

What is the role of the PAC?
The role of the Upper Lynn Parent Advisory Council is to advise the Principal and staff of the school and the North Vancouver Board of Education of the parents’ perspective regarding any matter related to the school.

Why is the PAC important?
The right and responsibility of parents & guardians to participate in the process of determining educational goals, policies and services provided for their children in the provincial school system has been recognized for some time by the Ministry of Education in British Columbia.

Why is it crucial to have parent involvement in the PAC?
The Upper Lynn Elementary School PAC has the responsibility of representing and speaking on behalf of all the parents and guardians of students at this school. To fulfill this responsibility, the PAC requires the sustained participation and ongoing contribution of the views of all parents and guardians.
